You have to take elevation of the camera/telescope into account as well. Although to counter that point I have seen someone do that same experiment at 0' sea level and still see farther than they are allegedly supposed to. So, make sure they are calculating elevation as well.

The CIA and ABC's have always been cucked by the Russians. Literally there are articles describing how bad Russia has infiltrated our country and led them by the nose.
Following the rules of the bad guys love to project their crimes onto their enemies, them being Russian assets would be the conclusion. Also, their only legal defense for their investigation and surveillance is written in the law to be used against "Agents of Foreign Countries"
