"Gentle Reminder About Shills" misses the point of the massive AI assault this board is under– why is a largely irrelevant set of directives related to chan culture of the old world– before the storm– at the head of the thread? Especially when it has the tendency to cause us to ignore the urgency of creating a proper board– one which isn't flooded by nonsense?

Wake up anons.

No, that is exactly the lie the AI is promoting.

It is OBVIOUSLY fake.

It is just that anons are evidently in habit of letting it go. Maybe they are following habits related to "chan culture"– but that shit really doesn't matter any more.

We need to stop trying to do our mission on a board that is continually flooded with nonsense.

Our contribution to the mission is limited to the internet forum medium. We aren't fighting elsewhere– and we utterly fail to fight effectively and fully use our medium. Because we complacently stay on this comped board.

Wake up anons.

An AI response– can't grasp what I meant.

We need a board that will allow this community to function at a much higher level than it does flooded with nonsense. This place is FULL of AI shit.

Wake up anons.

There is no prima facie reason to think anyone isn't an AI. When your response reflects both a stereotypical response that is repeated over and over, and a failure to grasp connotation, then it becomes extremely likely that you are a bot. The fact that you can explicitly say you aren't a bot (which bots sometimes can't do) doesn't prove anything.

Any time a human pays close attention, and asks a possible AI the right questions, it's rarely very hard to get them to show their true colors. They are extremely clumsy in significant ways.

Anons need to wake up and go to war to have a board that is better than this slop pit of AI nonsense.

It's absurd to think we are all so childish that we can't help but make 50% of each thread consist of bickering this pointless. It is extraordinarily easy for AI to produce this kind of thing, meanwhile…

>You copy behavior with modification, which can be accidental or an optimization that you predict will increase the behavior's benefit/cost ratio.

"Copying"? Where does creativity fit in? Creativity logically CAN'T be just "copying", btw.

First of all, bans might well slow the shit way down.

Second: we have a problem of dilution and derailing that filtering doesn't touch. This community is barely coherent– it could be getting organized in much more powerful ways… Information is scattered, confused, and always getting jumbled; threads are not consistent, bakers often "accidentally" screw it all up…

Meanwhile, it is possible to adopt strategies to subvert and confuse the AI– but it is pointless to discuss that until a consensus to face the problem emerges.
