Trump has known since before being elected that he was aiming for the cabal. His entire presidency he has had to make sure that every I is dotted and every T is crossed. Do you really think he hasn't had Pence checked very thoroughly? If there's something in VP's background like that, POTUS already knows about it and he and VP have already had a serious discussion to resolve the matter one way or another. I find it hard to believe that Trump has taken care to address the myriad of concerns he has yet fail to address that one.
