All hail President Bus— I mean, Trump, whose administration saw fit (just as the last two) to cite 'state secrets', a la the Soviet Union, in its attempt to have this suit dismissed, and succeeded, thanks to the despicably pathetic ruling of one U.S. District Court 'judge', Jeffrey White (who, in a just world, would be stuffed in a bag and thrown into a river).
Warrantless wiretapping is, effectively, legal - since no 'court' in the land will hold the Executive accountable for its total abrogation of our 4th Amendment privileges, much less do anything to deter NSA from continuing to spy on Americans every, single day. Here's the cowardly 'ruling' from the northern district of California protecting the defendants, i.e. NSA, et al.

Those of us who have repeatedly defended NSA, as if they're a bunch of 'white hats', or by extension this administration, should be ashamed of the efforts undertaken to quash this suit. It should illuminate just how much bullshit we've been fed here. No one is 'draining' anything, and they're citing 'state secrets' to ensure there will be zero accountability for any of these institutions of the establishment. Game over.
Shame on all of us who continue to defend this charade. It's unconscionable, and reflects just how willfully ignorant we've become in our desperation to reconcile the cognitive dissonance.
