All these posts about MK are dredging up the feelings that made me reject everything about govt and politics about 20 yrs ago and just focus on my family and keeping needles out of my kids, keeping them safe and making sure their schools knew if one hair on those kids' heads was harmed they would have ME to deal with. Full-time job.
Now daughter is starting nursing school. All those vaccines I kept out of her? She had to get them now. And more.
We were lucky in a way. So poor that it didnt make sense for me to work just to pay daycare. So I stayed home. I was all over everything that involved my kids - but just to make sure people knew they were off limits. It worked.
Now they get to do what they want and only one is on board with this. The other two think he and I are bat shit crazy. But when things go down we will be ready to help. He's a Marine, so
Am aware. Why do you think I kept them out of my kids? Now 2 out of 3 (the Marine and the future nurse) have had all of them. Every one. Sucks. Bad for Marine because he knew, but had to do it anyway or no Marines. Daughter took hers almost eagerly - dedicated to nursing and nothing will stop her. What can you do?
