Seattle Phone Fag here and I have noticed that since the Governor has said he is running for president and has increased his security needs, which are provided free of charge to Inslee's campaign by our state police force, it appears they are covering this shortfall in their funds on the backs of the locals through excessive traffic infractions and fines.
The just reduced the speed limit in a section of the main interstate from 60 to 50 mph, then ran an emphasis patrol there and wrote $288 minimum fine citations to a horde of unsuspecting sheep.
They usually run emphasis patrols around holidays, but now they are scrambling to make them a weekly thing. I imagine that some of the officers are none too pleased at the increased work loads.
In my opinion this is a gross example on an abuse of power and authority.
