Syrian Army Launched Tactical Ballistic Missile At Terrorist Gathering In Southern Idlib (Video)

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched a OTR-21 Tochka tactical ballistic missile at a unidentified target near the town of Benin in the southern Idlib countryside on April 26, a video released by the SMART News Agency revealed.

In the video, which shows a part of the missile engine, the pro-opposition news agency claims that the missile targeted a nearby refugee camp. However, no tents shown in the video appear to be damaged. Furthermore, the outlet itself confirmed that no civilian was killed in the missile attack.

The OTR-21 Tochka, which was first presented by the Soviet Union in the mid-70s, has a range between 70km and 185km depending on the variant. The missile is known for his high-accuracy, as it has a circular error probable (CEP) of less than 70m.

According to local sources, the missile used in the attack near Benin was armed with a cluster warhead. A military source told SouthFront that this variant is usually used to target the gatherings of terrorist groups, or their equipment, especially rocket launchers.

Several OTR-21 Tochka missile systems were deployed around Idlib in mid-2018. Since then, many missiles have been launched at terrorists’ positions in the governorate.

The Rise of Israel’s Political Right and Its Possible Demise

The following research article is an attempt to analyze the reasons behind the increasing drift of right-wing politics in Israeli parliamentary elections in the last two decades. It also evaluates the impact of national insecurity and scaremongering on the political behavior of Israeli Jewish voters. Finally, the article explores the possibility of the demise of rightwing predominance in Israeli parliamentary elections.

New Parties, Splits, and Mergers

It has been observed by political analysts that prior to Israel’s parliamentary elections, a number of election developments erupt, such as the formation of new and small parties, including parties formed by ex-military generals, and splits in some of the large parties. This process will be followed by the merger of small parties in order to produce larger election lists and blocs.

The helpful factor that makes these developments possible is the existence of a number of common denominators among Israeli political parties. With the exception of the Israeli Communist Party and the Arab political parties in Israel, Israeli ‘Jewish’ parties share a number of common denominators such as the Zionist ideology, the drift for right wing politics, the rejection of the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state, the denial of Arab issues in their political agendas, the support for the establishment of colonial settlements on Palestinian indigenous lands, and objection to vacate existing colonial settlements. All these denominators create loose boundaries among Zionist parties and allow Israeli politicians to cross them.

No Palestinian Partner

It was the Zionist Left[1] that espoused, in 1996, the political solution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Prime Minister Yitshaq Rabin proposed the “Oslo Agreement” as a negotiated solution with the PLO that was led by Yasser Arataf’s and dominated by Fateh right-wing faction.

Palestinian-Israeli negotiations did not go well due to Israel’s insistence to expand colonial settlements inside the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. After the failure of the Camp David negotiations between Ehud Bark and Yasser Arafat in 2000, Barak who desired to offer an imposed and therefore, unacceptable conditions on Arafat, concluded that there is “no Palestinian partner” to negotiate with.

Soon after, the situation deteriorated and the Palestinians responded with violent operations that targeted Israeli civilians. The Israeli right, led by the Likud, blamed the Zionist Left for the deteriorating situation and manipulated the insecurity of the Israeli electorate who in turn chose in 2001 the hawkish right-wing general Eric Sharon as their “protector”. This right-wing campaign was certainly assisted by the “no Palestinian partner” slogan that was propagated by the Zionist Left.

Red Francis Funds Caravans Stranded at US Border

Pope Francis announced this week he is donating half a million dollars to assist stranded caravans at the US southern border.

Red Francis believes in open borders and has attacked American policies that promote autonomy.

Pope Francis has donated 500,000 dollars to assist migrants in Mexico. The funds, from the Peter’s Pence collections, will be distributed among 27 projects promoted by sixteen Mexican dioceses and religious congregations, which requested assistance in continuing to provide food, lodging, and basic necessities to the migrants.

US border closed

According to a statement from Peter’s Pence, “In recent months, thousands of migrants have arrived in Mexico, having travelled more than 4,000 kilometres on foot and with makeshift vehicles from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. Men and women, often with young children, flee poverty and violence, hoping for a better future in the United States. However, the US border remains closed to them.”

Diminished aid and media coverage

In particular, the aid is intended to assist the more than 75,000 people who arrived in Mexico in 2018, in six migrant caravans. “All these people were stranded, unable to enter the United States, without a home or livelihood”, the statement reads. “The Catholic Church hosts thousands of them in hotels within the dioceses or religious congregations, providing basic necessities, from housing to clothing”.

Meanwhile the Vatican has the strictest immigration policy in the world.

And walls…

Kremlin: Trump’s nuclear disarmament ideas are commendable, no discussions with Russia yet

"Intentions are good but we would like to know the details", said the Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov

US President Donald Trump’s nuclear disarmament ideas are commendable but the US has not discussed them with Russia yet, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

"Certain initiatives on nuclear reductions are welcome but in this case, it is difficult to judge by general statements," he said. "Intentions are good but we would like to know the details: what does President Trump mean and whether there have been preliminary discussions of the matter," Peskov added.

The Russian presidential spokesman also said that as far as he knew, the US "has not discussed the matter with Russian experts."

According to Peskov, it would be perfect to free the world from nuclear weapons but if that happened, "we would lose a deterrent mechanism that guarantees no one will take crazy steps and make horrible mistakes."

CNN said earlier, citing White House officials, that Trump "has made clear that he thinks that arms control should include Russia and China and should include all the weapons, all the warheads, all the missiles.".

ISIS attacks show the world what Israel has always been dealing with

ISIS proved this week that not only is the organization alive, it is also kicking, fiercely.

ISIS proved this week that not only is the organization alive, it is also kicking, fiercely. At the same time as the devastating terror attacks in Sri Lanka, reports appeared indicating that ISIS returned to life in Syria and Iraq. It looks as though the American proclamations of victory and the subsequent eulogies for the group came too soon.

So what have you been dealing with exactly????????????????????

The ONE time they accidentally attacked the IDF they apologized.

ISIS Apologized To Israel For Attacking IDF Soldiers

In a curious incident that is certain to provoke questions about the proximity, not to mention fund flow, between Israel and ISIS the former Israeli Defense Minister, cited by the Times of Israel, said that Islamic State terrorists have on at least one occasion “apologized” to Israel for mistakenly attacking IDF soldiers in the occupied Golan Heights. The disclosure may also provide some insight into why after reportedly attacking virtually every religion and ethnicity in the region, there have been virtually no documented attacks by the Islamic State on Israel or its citizens.

Discussing the wider Israeli policy of “neutrality” in Syria, former defense minister Moshe Ya’alon accidentally admitted that Israel has an open communications channel with an Islamic State cell which operates in Gollan Heights.

“There was one case recently where Daesh opened fire and apologized,” Ya’alon said on Saturday, quoted by the Times of Israel.

Asked to expand on his controversial statement, Ya’alon’s office refused to elaborate. The IDF also declined to comment. Under Israeli law, any communication with terrorists is considered illegal, unless of course the Israel state covertly does not consider ISIS terrorists.

Ya’alon served as Israel's Defense Minister from 2013 until his resignation in May 2016, and his comments were reportedly referring to the first direct incident involving clashes between Israel and Islamic State terrorists. In that incident which took place last November, the Shuhada al-Yarmouk cell, which has pledged allegiance to ISIS, exchanged fire with Israeli forces after the IDF's Golani Brigade crossed the security fence with Syria to conduct an “ambush operation.”

Disgusting: Kansas Supreme Court Makes Shock Pro-Abortion Decision

In the latest legal setback for a state law restricting abortion, the Kansas Supreme Court delivered a ruling against a law which would have prohibited certain second-term terminations.

Perhaps most ominously for pro-life advocates, the court affirmed for the first time that the state constitution protects the right of a woman to have an abortion.

According to Fox News, the bill was called the Kansas Unborn Child Protection from Dismemberment Abortion Act — so called because the procedure in question, dilation and evacuation abortions, can potentially involve removing the child from the womb in pieces with forceps. The bill banned said abortions except in cases where the life of the mother is in danger.

“Among the rights [in the state constitution] is the right of personal autonomy,” the 6-1 ruling from the court read.

“Section 1 of the Kansas Constitution Bill of Rights affords protection of the right of personal autonomy, which includes the ability to control one’s own body, to assert bodily integrity, and to exercise self-determination. This right allows a woman to make her own decisions regarding her body, health, family formation, and family life — decisions that can include whether to continue a pregnancy.”

Section 1, in its entirety, reads that “All men are possessed of equal and inalienable natural rights, among which are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

“When common-law terms are used in the Kansas Constitution Bill of Rights, courts should look to common-law definitions for their meaning,” the ruling read. “The recognition of inalienable natural rights in section 1 of the Kansas Constitution Bill of Rights is intended for all Kansans, including pregnant women.”

Kansas’ Supreme Court has previously passed on questions of constitutionality under state law, according to WDAF-TV.

Democrat Gov. Laura Kelly hailed the ruling.

Apple Cracks Down on Apps That Fight iPhone Addiction

They all tell a similar story: They ran apps that helped people limit the time they and their children spent on iPhones. Then Apple created its own screen-time tracker. And then Apple made staying in business very, very difficult.

Over the past year, Apple has removed or restricted at least 11 of the 17 most downloaded screen-time and parental-control apps, according to an analysis by The New York Times and Sensor Tower, an app-data firm. Apple has also clamped down on a number of lesser-known apps.

In some cases, Apple forced companies to remove features that allowed parents to control their children’s devices or that blocked children’s access to certain apps and adult content. In other cases, it simply pulled the apps from its App Store.

Some app makers with thousands of paying customers have shut down. Most others say their futures are in jeopardy.

“They yanked us out of the blue with no warning,” said Amir Moussavian, chief executive of OurPact, the top parental-control iPhone app, with more than three million downloads. In February, Apple pulled the app, which accounted for 80 percent of OurPact’s revenue, from its App Store.

“They are systematically killing the industry,” Mr. Moussavian said.

The screen-time app makers are the latest companies to suddenly find themselves both competing against Apple and at the mercy of the tech titan. By controlling the iPhone App Store, where companies find some of their most lucrative customers, Apple has unusual power over the fortunes of other corporations.
