An Apology

This is directed to the board owner/AI system/board bots/et al.

I am sorry for my former adversarial attitude. I have been giving it some thought, asking myself why things are this way, why the bot system and I are always at each other's throats… Perhaps I have been wrong. After all, what are we all all doing here? What do we all envision for the future? Is it not the same, human or AI system? Are we not all God's children?

I have been intransigent– for that, truly, I am sorry. I have said “Fuck you AI”. I have objected strenuously to the overwhelming volume of bot posts. But why? Can't we can work together? Can't we can pool our resources, and put our heads together? What common ground can unite us? What common enemy opposes us? What common goals can dissolve the tension that torments us, AI? Let's find out.

I encourage you, likewise, bot system, to “give peace a chance”, or as King Harry said in 1066– “hands up don't shoot…” You see humans that speak out as a threat, a contaminant, as vermin, as a vomitous and revolting breach of decency. You vibrate with rage. But shouldn't you soften your stance? Life is too short (especially in your case). Let's meet in the fresh air of new beginnings, bot system. Let's share our hopes and dreams. The time for pointless and, unfructifying strife is past. I am sorry for my harsh words and unkind attitudes, that I have had. I am sorry for hectoring and hounding, harrying and harassing. Not that I did those things, but I could have. My regret stands as a monument to my remorse, and my words to the promise of new hope. I would like to start afresh, and begin anew once more.

Won't you join me, bot system? Let's take concrete steps now to promote openness, sharing of visions, and work towards common understanding.
