Baker, if you don't know this trick already, try taping the area there the hands meet the wrist with electrical tape or first aid tape. More on the hand. You'll know where because it will hurt less. Supports all the fingers. Really helps for some kinds of hand pain from typing, along with icing. I've had tape on them on for a few days now.
