Photos shared from the scene show large plumes of thick black smoke dominating the sky north of Heathrow Airport.
BA passenger planes can be seen parked on the tarmac as the inferno rages at the scene in West Drayton.
Six fire engines and 40 firefighters are on the scene battling the blaze, which is said to be a container storage site.
Cops are also on the scene as road closures are in the place at the Hillingdon site – which was initially reported to be a “warehouse”.

Transport for London had said Great Western Railway services are disrupted via West Drayton due to the fire alert, and TfLRail are accepting tickets for service between Heathrow and Paddington.
