Which means that any such candidate would only need 105 MPs votes to get through to the final round, at which point the wider membership would select the brexit candidate.

 

Clearly there are about 80 MPs in the ERG so they would only have to find 25 more and back one candidate to ensure final victory.

Only the final 2 are voted by members… It gets whittled down by MPs first. Hence a brexiter only needs 105 votes to guarantee getting to the final round, at which point the membership will vote for them.

 

That brexiter has to be willing to concede Tilbrook's court case to exit the EU overnight.
