These are local council elections. Councils run our towns but don't get a seat in the Commons as MP's. The results are not a pro Brexit vote they are a massive shot over the bows to Theresea May and the Conservative remain party. Local elections are where we voters usually vote for the best Council members for the job to run our towns, UNLESS we are bang in the middle of the biggest constitutional crisis we have had for a very long time and using them to send a VERY strong message to our two main parties.
The Conservatives (Theresa May) lost over 1000 council seats, via Conservative Brexit voters. Labour lost 80 or so via Labour (Jeremy Corbyn) via Brexit voters
Had we had Brexit Party candidates standing at locals it would have been a landslide for them. Watch the upcoming EU elections on the 23rd where WE DO have Brexit Party candidates standing. The British Brexit voters will be voting EVERY one of them into the EU as a clear signal that we STILL mean business and the referendum must be delivered by our politicians if they want to keep their jobs.
The 'Kazan' reference in the Toronto papers is the photo of the identical lookalike to Meghan taken by a Siberian photographer it's on the badly created link that I posted a bit further up the thread. Still haven't got the link thing onboard but assumed if people give enough of a damn they will be arsed to cut and paste it into their browser for a nebby.
