ANONS What is going on at the FED?
Currently, there are 2 vacant seats on the 7 member Board of Governors. At least two of Trump's previous pics have been non-controversial and easily confirmed, including both the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman positions. The chatter we hear, as Herman Cain has now bowed out, is that Trump is considering nominating to its board of governors the economist Judy Shelton.
Additionally, of the current, 5 sitting board members, 4 of them were brought in to fill unexpected vacancies. What's up with that?
I understand Q's position of the FED, all its evil and the effect gold will have on its' demise but is it unreasonable to expect that POTUS will restructure in such a way that the mechanism will remain in place with a new structured mandate?
The process of voting is stated below but does it appear as if Trump is stacking the board to effectuate a big change coming?
Thoughts ANONS?
There are twelve Federal Reserve Banks, one in each of the twelve Federal Reserve Districts. Under the Federal Reserve Act, the president of a Federal Reserve Bank is the chief executive officer of the Bank. He or she is appointed by the individual Bank's board of directors, with the approval of the Board of Governors, for a term of five years.
