I just had a thought.
When the 2008 crash happened, people were angry. And when 2009 rolled around, many wanted the new government to start jailing bankers and such.

The arrests finally start to happen, from the minions on the bottom to the bosses on the top.
Trump uses money seized from traffickers and gold repatriated back to the US to put Americans back to work.
Fed is restructured during this process.
