Righteousness is one of those words that sounds "religious" but many people probably don't read much into it.
I do.
It's really important.
It means to do what God intended.
One who really, REALLY loves God, WANTS to please God and that means taking time to study God's word (carefully and thoroughly! not just picking phrases from here and there in a jumble) and spending time with God in prayer and praise.
It means wanting to have a clean spirit and get rid of the crap soiling each of our windshield so we can see where we're going and not get into a wreck.
