I noticed a funny coincidence.
Judicial Watch announced that a Supreme Court case that it had been a participant in (submitted a paper?) resulted in a Montana rancher winning his appeal, with the $130,000. fine being cancelled. The man had dug a trench around his buildings to protect them from wildfire and the EPA arrested him, fined him, and the 9th Circuit Court agreed and so the 75 year old man served 18 months in jail, and died while still on probation.

It seems an odd amount of money to me. What is it about 130,000. ??
So out of curiousity, I did a quick search to see if there were any telltale fines that might stand out as – an impetus or CAUSE for a particular dollar amount being used – to connect them – for some reason or another. Just cuz I'm crazy for finding lost jigsaw pieces.
