Sydney commuters are experiencing delays of up to an hour after urgent signal repairs between Strathfield and Ashfield earlier this morning. An external power outage caused a signal failure that has affected the T1 Western and North Shore line, T2 Inner West and Leppington line, T3 Bankstown line, T8 Airport and South line, T9 Northern line, the Blue Mountains line, and the Central Coast and Newcastle line. Passengers are being advised by Transport NSW to allow plenty of extra travel time.
