there used to be a general spirit competition when several anons were working on their own theories/digs at once in a bread. the best ones would get more attention/ further discussion and would be put in notables. healthy discussion and logical arguments created an environment where excellence was rewarded and stupidity - like the stupidity you're currently displaying with 'muh participation trophy muh competition isn't fair' - was thoroughly mocked.
