Dial M for Murder

Dial M for Murder is a 1954 American crime mystery film directed by Alfred Hitchcock, starring Ray Milland, Grace Kelly, Robert Cummings, and John Williams. Both the screenplay and the successful stage play on which it was based were written by English playwright Frederick Knott.

Plot: (abbreviated)

Tony Wendice (Ray Milland), an English professional tennis player, is married to wealthy socialite Margot (Grace Kelly), who has had an affair with American crime-fiction writer Mark Halliday (Robert Cummings). When Tony retires from tennis, he secretly discovers the affair and decides to murder Margot, both for revenge and to ensure that her money will continue to finance his comfortable lifestyle.

Tony invites an old acquaintance from the University of Cambridge, Charles Alexander "C. A." Swann (Anthony Dawson), to his London flat. Tony is aware that Swann has become a small-time criminal, and has been secretly following Swann so he can blackmail him into murdering Margot. Tony tells Swann about Margot's affair. Six months before, Tony stole her handbag, which contained a love letter from Mark, and anonymously blackmailed her. After tricking Swann into leaving his fingerprints on the letter, Tony offers to pay him £1,000 to kill Margot; if Swann refuses, Tony will turn him in to the police as Margot's blackmailer. Swann's credibility, in denying Tony's accusation, would be hurt by his criminal history.

Tony leaves a key under a stairway mat near the door to their apartment for Swann to use. Margot somehow is able to kill Swann when he attacks her. She is indicted and convicted of his murder. Halliday needs to save her from execution. He thinks of an alternative scenerio where a hidden key is how Swann gets in. Turns out Swann was to replace her key to her handbag but accidentally put his own key there, not hers.

A sting is planned to see if there was a hidden key, and who would find it. Tony found it and was arrested and Margot was freed.

Half of the point of being a perv

is to get a thrill off of seeing how people react

to something that is outrageous or improper

I'm thinking they like to see the shock of peoples faces

just to see the human expression when face to face with evil

I've noticed with Biden

that he seems to be "known" for his wandering hands

like he was a DC jokester at all the parties

And Laura Ingraham stands up for him saying it is all innocent.

Sure, it might be innocent with people who he likes

but with others

he pushes his freedoms way past the point of decency

and then he can't be said to "do it just with kids"

cuz he does it with everyone and it is just being friendly

IMHO, if the act is committed that violates someone

it's not the fault of the victim

IMHO this is another form of rape

sick fuk

i believe many of the articles posted at National Institute of Health

are studies that are submitted to the community

and published

so there are many different scientists from all over the world

still, there are other studies by groups looking into this

there are problems with any study

these vaccines must be stored properly

if subjected to improper conditions you may have an altered dose

every detail of the vaccination must be scrutinized to get an accurate picture of what else might cause a reaction to it

one must always note the date of the study

you can think of it this way

when you are ready to understand something

you understand it

until that time you beat around the bushes

not really wanting to see the devil himself

but wanting to see just enough to know for certain the truth of it

one lovely thing about life

is that there is never an end to exploring

how boring would that be

i've seen so many crazy conspiracies

it makes me wonder just how crazy people really are

this was all okay

until we start discovering that some of them are true

America is about as close as mankind has gotten – to creating a heaven

and maybe now we are sorting it all out

sorting out how we figure out FREEDOM

why is immorality important to freedom?

because we are intelligent creatures

who experience common emotions

My theory is that there are some who are manipulating events so that all the prophecies will come true

so that Jesus can return and rule the world

And there are some who think that means he will rule from the church

and the Vatican is all ready for him to arrive

and if Jesus doesn't arrive

then we have a substitute Jesus

Everybody wants to be the boss. Aint it true. Aint it true.

I said it wrong.

meant to say:

why is MORALITY important to freedom?

FREEDOM is a way to truth

we can't discover "truth" without that freedom

but

that freedom should never violate human dignity

human dignity comes from our capacity for great intellect

we should fight to preserve that dignity

and that dignity comes from rightness and goodness

follow the yellow brick road

begin with the most simple of truths

and you will find at the end

when you look back on all those truths you discover

that God MUST be real

that LOVE is FREEDOM

and that truth is found through … love
