That is some expanded thinking, anon.
We joke about us being autists - but I think it is actually another 'condition' or 'metric' that is apart from intelligence.
Inquisitiveness, curiosity, hunger, and/or focus. The 'autist' doesn't see the world the same way "normal" people do. The autist in question can be anywhere on the spectrum of intelligence. It isn't so much about their capacity to learn/apply, so much as it is their drive to do so.
The autist, in a fit of rage, crafts a sharpened stick to jab at a threat or food. The autist obsesses over the details of forest saplings and eventually constructs a device like a bow and arrow. The autist is driven by the insane urge to throw everything into the fire in various orders and combinations. Whatever divine autism gifted us insane recipes that have no business having been discovered due to their exacting demands…
"Autism" - that ability to zero in and obsess on a problem, craft, art, or concept to the point of incoherent madness - that is what has taken us from being simply intelligent predators to artisans, gardeners, and creators in our own right.
While not everyone in society need be rock stars so to speak, the general masses seem muted compared to their ancestors. Perhaps this is mostly MSM projection, or perhaps there is something real to it - not that vaccines cause autism - but that they somehow inhibit it or render people dysfunctional in their expression of it.
It's also worth noting that not vaccines in general, but the massibe battery of vaccinations typically given to infants, as POTUS has stated in the past.
