Good words Anon. I have lost a LOT of good material, and for me, the best material always "comes" when I am either just doing day to day stuff (I never try to make something happen, although if I ever had time to write, I would commit to doing the 3 pages in the morning deal, to see if you catch a seam) or when I'm working on polishing. That right there just came to me. I will loathe it in 10 minutes because I'll see where I can tighten it up, but again, I can actually rap, so to not be able to flow it sucks, but there's these INCREDIBLE PoetAnons (Maybe 1, maybe more, I don't know) but they are great and it's slow and I figure it's a great way to get over ridicule and all of that. Us Anons need to start getting on our Creative game all the more. Including me.
