Spouse anon and I argue this all the time. Spouse is convinced 100 % true and accurate..I’m more like you…based on things that happened but embellished to tell a more thrilling story..in a time when the scope of the world was limited. Plus you get the future editing and as someone who does editing for work, typos happen, words change and every subsequent copy may be based on a wrong word or meaning from there on out.
