Most of the stories of the bible are stolen from older traditions. They are often stories of extra terrestrials, but I am not going to unload an episode of Ancient Aliens here. I think it is just notable that most religion was handed to us by the "Elite" as a mechanism of control.

It was bullshit. more oral traditions about people from outer space and, of whom, they were afraid because they had technology to vaporize them and shit. The plurals were simply changed to a singular "God". Whether it was one alien, who wanted to rule these people or whether it was just seen as a control mechanism and used to manipulate these people…who knows. maybe this alien used this group as slaves?

We would probably be OK, since it is not likely that a bunch of stories with the names and quantities of "Gods" changed from the original versions is not likely to contain some great truth. Especially considering all the money and control they seem to ask of us.
I think a better question would be "what would happen if everyone stopped living their lives in fear of something they have never seen and cannot even comprehend?"
Why are most people Christians?
Let me spare us the wordy diversionary diatribe about peace, love and righteousness.
Most people are Christians because they fear going to hell for doing all of the things they REALLY enjoy doing.
The scriptures are metaphor about our system of commerce. Since your private property is placed in a public trust and you can truly own anything, since the state is god and everything belongs to the state, you are bonded at birth and all your debts are prepaid.
Commerce is a scam. you cannot truly own anything.
What kills me about this is that you are likely going to ask everyone, who posts non-sourced statements here for sauce. Yet, you require no sauce to give up all the fun stuff in life, make your life decisions by and hand over all your money to a cause you cannot verify is even real. Centered on a man, who nobody can prove ever even existed.

I am spirit. I am God. As are you. That is why your body is your temple. Everything in this world is transient. You cannot take it with you. Therefore, you cannot own it. you are God. How can you own God? You can only be a witness to creation.
Also, if your God is real, there can be no free will, since he foreknows all. Your decisions and thoughts are not even your own.
