You have the false assumption majority of spammers are bots. That's your mistake. As with IP banning, it won't stop the spamming for the spammers, but will stop some real anons from posting. If you think breads are cleaner, you are posting moar and reading less. Forced captcha's aren't going to stop the spamming. Weeks' time you will be moar over run with them than ever before because real anons won't bother with the captcha shit, but the spammers won't mind it. Anyone thinking captcha is a good idea is not using logic or reasoning. It may end the 100 post per bread, but at what cost? Those didn't happen often and BV could always delete them. But trying to hinder spammers from posting also hinders real anons from posting. They cost greatly outweighs the benefits. Period.
Oh and this should be a blast to deal with under a ddos attack.

During the times of captcha glitches where you have to captcha dozens of times before posting, this will only make it 100 times worse. Baking may be almost immpossible. Then wait until big news drops. It was extremely difficult to post under the best of conditions. Adding this layer of difficulty to posting will only make it so very few can post at all. Why bother digging and posting when it takes longer to post than the dig itself?
What do you think will happen when Q goes on a posting spree and the board lags badly? Will bakers be able to keep with the added steps plus grab notes along the way?
