Simple math exercise:

I have 50K, and loan it to a family member to buy out their 4% mortgage for the last two years at 2%

 

Bank would have paid me 1/10% interest. $100 total

 

Bank would have used my $50k to make $500k in loans, charging $16k in two years

 

Family member pays me $4k in interest (actually $2k because 1/2AT^2 due to principal reduction)

 

I make $2k, bank loses $16k potential business. Cost to me, $100 taxable interest.

 

Trusting each other is how we take down the cabal.
