It's not made up. Before the change you only had to solve a captcha 1 time to post. After that you were good for the entire 'session'. Which means botfags can solve a captcha early in the morning, turn on their bot, and wreck the board damn near all day. That has become nearly impossible now since a captcha is required every post. Do you understand now?
