>imagine how much effort it now takes them to spam the board just so they can say this isn't working

This is what I think went on: → >6372119 (meta)

The moment the policy went into effect, the shills were fucked.

What's happening now is that the shills have probably figured out that pooling themselves behind an IP (as if they were on a home LAN) and then all posting at once with the same IP hash (as would happen if you and your buds posted from your house through wifi instead of over cell) makes it appear as if a single ip hash is doing it.

[They] are spending resources to keep appearances up, if I'm right.

Took them a couple of hours to figure it out too.

I don't think they have the stamina to captcha every post themselves.

I think they're simulating "no change in throughput" by teaming up multiple users behind ip addresses.

Try it yourself. put your phone in wifi mode and post

post from you pc

you will get the same uid.

now add 3-4 other devices.

I don't see how a single poster would be able to even keep up with the captcha just by themselves.

The hilarious part to me is that you faggots are utilizing your freedom to speak here about something that is 6 extra characters than you would normally type, if you were in fact typing out your shit every time.

Which I doubt.

Last I checked, codemonkey does the site code.

Maybe he coded in the ability to do it per-post?

And the mod team has decided to make use of it?

The board already utilized captcha prior to that, and /BO/ has given his statement (kek :))

Based on the observed responses i don't see the new policy going anywhere.

This was done for a reason that I am going to continue to shut the fuck up about.
