I wonder how many of the people whose household names are significant in our QAnon world are actually deep-cover operatives who have been in their role playing their part for, perhaps, decades. It's hard to judge people when you realize some of them might be role-players with loyalty to a higher long-term cause.
@BO-BV
Got a lil problem here.
Memes bread is fucked up since the Captcha-per-post was introduced. Meta bread likewise (cannot report issue there).
Nobody has posted in Memes46 since my last post at 20:57 EDT last night >>6364908 (memes46)
I'm just trying to harvest and post memes like always, and here's what happened (pic).
"A Captcha was requested but you did not enter one" error.
However no captcha prompt appeared either as a popup or within the Reply window.
Tried CTRL-F5 hard refresh, no dice.
Tried Browser, clear cache. Symptom still exists.
Have reset modem multiple times since last evening if it's an old javascript in the modem's web cache.
You got any ideas how to fix this?
You say it is or is not fixed?
It has or has not been reported to CM?
It's a CM issue or a /qresearch/-only issue?
I still have the problem.
Reported my post so BO/BV will notice the issue.
Unless you are the BO and you know how the captcha-per-post was implemented, how would you know if it's a configuration error fixable by BO, or board-specific javascript introduced by BO, or something affecting the entire 8ch site.
I am unable to draw a conclusion between those 3 options without further info.
It might be a web cache issue where a proxy server somewhere between me and 8ch/cloudflare is caching the site's javascript and serving up an old copy that's not compatible with the current captcha policy. In which case it should age out from the cache eventually.
That's why I tried a CTRL-F5 to force pulling the javascript from 8ch instead of from an intermediate cache somewhere, but proxies don't always honor such requests.
Thanks done. Have reported Memes46 and Meta for this issue, and global-reported my post that described the issue in detail.
OK back to work!
> only had 3 options:
>-no capcha
>-24h capcha
>-capcha every post
Capcha every post is fine with me but it has to work in every bread that we are entitled to post in, and currently it doesn't.
Have reported the issue to CM using global report.
Yep it is good now. Thanks for the heads up.
They probably just flipped a bit on the javascript's time-to-live file to force cache updates at proxies.
Sory for making a fuss about this but darn it I have a routine for harvesting memes and filing them in Memes bread and the Q Research Graphics library and did not want our meme harvest to get backed up to the point that it would be a big trouble.
Thanks everybody.
OK back to work.
Memefarmer out.
