Yeah, I work in NPC territory. The CEO of my company came in today while I had the Barr hearing playing and just assumed I would parrot the same lines he was saying "Oh there was obvious obstruction, Barr is such a liar, he's obstructing, omg" and I said "oh, how so? I think he's been pretty upright through the whole process" and then it seemed like that idea hadn't occurred to him because he turned and really watched the hearing for 2 or 3 minutes.
I think a lot of people really don't do any digging for themselves, they're happy just to repeat buzzwords and popular opinion.
