I've also noticed that for elderly folks that have lots of money tucked away and get sick to the point that they need to be placed in an old folks home, the doctors will always try to make the claim that they have dimentia. They did this to a friend of mine. I know her, she was sharp as a tack! She called me wanting to come home but stated that her children wouldn't let her. So, sometimes the kids are in on it. She wanted me to help take care of her - she only had a few problems walking that's all. I said I would if her doctor's would clear her to come home. Then I got a call from her kids, almost threatening me!!! Of course, they took over her house and took her car etc. Sad, very sad!!
Kek! I'm a liar? How do you know? Kek!!!!
And, more importantly, why in the hell would you be triggered by my post???
What are you talking about???
She did NOT give her property away to her children. She was still living there and was in ownership of everything before leaving for the hospital.
>The statutory age of senility is 75
What? How sad for you to think that way!!!
No, she doesn't become confused. She's a very bright, intelligent and alert woman. She was the treasurer of two (not just one) non-profits plus managed all her finances after her husband died. She took excellent care of her dogs. All her friends, not just me, know that she's being conned. She called me crying, saying she does not have dimentia and doesn't need to be medicated. She said the medication makes her feel worse not better. It's so very sad!!!
