The Meme and the Vidya
BY HENRY WADSWORTH PEPEFELLOW
I shot a meme into the air,
It fell to twat, I knew not where;
For, so swiftly it flew, the sight
Could not follow it in its flight.
I breathed a vidya into the air
It fell to tube, I knew not where;
For who has sight so keen and strong,
That it can follow the right not wrong ?
Long, long afterward, in an oak
I found the meme and those it woke;
And the vidya, from beginning to end,
I watched again in the home of a friend.
