I don't think it's euthanasia when the person objects. The dictionary disagrees, but I'm thinking that maybe the law would consider the element of whether the recipient objects. From here, it looks like murder. Pre-meditated murder.
When a patient is unresponsive, then the healthcare proxy / living will / durable power of attorney (etc) kicks in … but that is in the event that the patient is unable to make their will known directly. This woman is clearly in her right mind and is clearly objecting to being suffocated.
