City officials, politicians react to corruption charges against Dayton leaders

 

On Tuesday, four Dayton-area men, including former Dayton city commissioner Joey Williams, KeyBank's Dayton market president; RoShawn Winburn, a city of Dayton employee; and Clayton Luckie, a businessman and former state representative, were indicted by a federal grand jury.

 

Williams was indicted on one count of bribery as a government official; Winburn faces two counts bribery, one count of wire fraud, one count of honor services fraud, and one count of lying to an FBI agent; and businessman Brian Higgins and Luckie were indicted on counts of mail fraud and wire fraud.

Diocese files motion to dismiss lawsuit filed by state Attorney General's office

 

PARKERSBURG — The Wheeling-Charleston Diocese has filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit filed by West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey's office alleging it and a former bishop knowingly employed pedophiles.
