FIREWORKS Erupt On House Judiciary Committee Two Days In A Row
WASHINGTON – Although Attorney General Bill Barr decided not to appear before the House Judiciary Committee Thursday, it did not stop fireworks from erupting two days in a row when members debated about the hearing format, procedure, as well as the treatment of Republican members.
Chairman Jerry Nadler appeared to lose control of his own committee on Wednesday when Republican members called him out for not recognizing Republican members at various times during the hearing.

Wisconsin Republican Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner, a former chairman of the committee repeatedly called to be recognized while Texas Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert called the hearing a “kangaroo court” and said he was not surprised that Barr did not want to appear before the committee the following day.
The debate spilled over into Thursday’s hearing when members of the committee faced an empty witness chair intended for AG Barr. Ranking member Doug Collins excoriated Committee Democrats for disrespecting minority member rights on the committee the previous night while attempting to create an impeachment like atmosphere.
