I was just thinking of that today; i've been aware of this shit for a little more than a month now.
I feel sick to my core. I walk around, hyperaware of the sickness that is society. I wonder how much longer I can contain myself.
After a moment's of self-pity, I wondered how tormenting it must've been for people who have been awake for this long, and quickly i focused again on the mission at hand.
Instant anger, because it threatens their worldview.
But its not about their worldview.
Its about the their ego; what they know as their truth and have enforced for many, many years. This has been enforced by external factors; news, media, celebrities and politicians. This feels safe; others telling you what to think? Lovely! That means I don't have to think anymore about the atrocities in the world
Then you come along and tell them basically everything they were lead to believe is a lie. Anger is a common response.
I usually get mocked and be called a conspiracy theorist.
The fun thing? It's the same 5 or 6 people making the joke. The funnier thing? They have the loudest mouth & are social/liberal democrats. The rest of my friends, listen in silence. Hopefully, it's them that I reach & inspire.
