If you take down Germany you are going to take down the EU with it, IMO.

If AfD had continued to offer the viable economic alternatives they were grounded upon and not been co-opted by the iffy characters (IMO) the led the party later, they could very well have been a controlling force in the government. Many people looked hard at them but the AfD didn't measure up. I watched it IRL, so my take.

So, If Merkel goes, puppet or not, Germany throws out the CDU and SPD and starts over with a viable original AfD clone. EU goes if that happens.

What does EU currently provide masters wrt trafficking, weapons and money laundering opportunities? Could be an important financial leg for the masters, but not sure.

Re; sacrifices, etc., besides blackmail opprtunities by the masters, I think it leads its adherents to feel they are superior/invincible. Going by attitudes of EU parliament here. I think they are susceptible to overreach due to delusions of grandeur, and enact laws/regulations more astute persons wouldn't. If they are attacked properly, will be defenseless. They get real dismissive of plebes and ugly when they're caught out, and it will be a public show at that point.

So taking out puppets/patsies causes the master's money making apparatus to break down, I think. Could be strategy.
