anon, do you really think a court would rule that Monsanto "owns" you because you ingested something that they patented?

I'm all for questioning the way things are and what is being presented to us as fact, but we need to keep common sense.

Trust me when I say no judge in the world would rule as you are suggesting. Also, Congress would pass a statute barring the patenting of humans, per se. Bottom line - it's not an issue.
