You can check the owner of the building fairly easily, and see if there is a business license to operate that is still active via secretary of state for OR website.

That's correct. Alefantis also owns 3 construction companies - weird huh?

Alefantis was also involved in an art gallery and participated in a joint project with underground tunnels under one of the circles in DC (sorry can't remember it offhand)… also weird.

COINCIDENCES abound.

So, once you find the owners(s) of the pizza place, you can also search to see if they own/c-own/on the board of any other businesses.
