Live on a farm. Have lots of construction this past 10 years where water piled up in work buckets. Mosquitoes were bad during those times.

Started taking vitamin B complex, sublingual about 10 years ago, without knowing it's effect on the bugs.

After a while sitting around a number of farm parties, especially the 4th of July, I noticed that everyone else was being attacked by mosquitoes, but, I have only had one bite in 10 years.

Later I read about the vitamin B1. It made sense to me. Don't know how well it works on ticks and fleas, but, last year the fleas were so bad, I will be giving the dogs sublingual B's twice a week to see what happens.

Worth a try.

Neem oil works a bit too if you rub it on their coats.

Can also use citronella oil.

One of the oldest remedies that people swear by is the brewers yeast with garlic sold at pet stores.

Might be a shotgun year. All of them are safe. No reason not to do them all. Fleas were awful here last year and could not be killed it seemed.
