>BO tried to do something, to at least, make it harder to post, and he did clean up the board a little, albeit to the consternation of the over-55 crew, who now have something else to bitch about.
No bitching from me and I'm one of the over-55 crew.
While we're about it, as a UK boomer I do take responsibility for the mess boomers have left their children and grandchildren, even though I stood against all of those cultural, financial and other changes that, from my perspective, wrecked both UK and US societies, lined the pockets of boomers throughout their own lives whilst pulling up the ladders behind them, and generally turned our respective countries from well-ordered, on the whole, fair and respecting of differences, into godless slaves of Mammon, pursuing self-enrichment at the expense of others, and self-entitlement without any sense of reciprocal responsibility towards family or the wider community.
As one of the generation that trained or allowed our children and grandchildren to be trained in these ways, I own responsibility for my part in it. It was our job to raise succeeding generations and pass on to them the best of our culture. Instead we turned it upside down and inside out and passed on an experimental, untested mishmash of left wing ideology that had more in common with atheistic communism than the Christian foundation of western civilisation. For decades I've been a lone voice standing up against this transformtion and those that have visited it on us but it's only since Q appeared on the scene that I've discovered so many like minds, willing to stand up for truth and conservative values against the onslaught of secular humanism with all its entitlement demands and self-gratification, for which I am eternally grateful.
