Most books don't deserve to be read entire.
Have you ever thought that if you don't read books entire you have time to cover more grounds? Have you ever thought that sampling many books is better than reading whole.
Only very few books deserve to be read whole!
Also the 'read books whole" police by being didactic and pedantic are the very people who often miss the Global Point, the large context point, the important point, on many issues.
