Matthew 6, 1-6…everything before you get to the "Lords Prayer"… that section says it all and you will understand why the churches skip it and go straight to the "Lords Prayer"
It essentially states to forget about those who preach/recite scripture and meditate…for GOD can be found in silence and direct communication is how it all works.
NO CHURCH, NO RELIGION, NO PREACHERS
So these "early churches" you mention…were they adorned with gold fixtures, marble floors, silk robes woven with gold, Italian red leather shoes, preachers making $$$millions, and did they make the participants tithe out of fear of going to hell?
Or did they say, "we are all one" or another way "the father (GOD) is in you, as he is in me, as he is in everything"?
