What is illegal about it? They were voted in and the public has rebuffed all israeli attempts to overthrow it and has categorically rejected all israeli puppets put in front of them. If their country sucks and they still aren't throwing them overboard, it is probably because they still remember what it was like before Chavez.
The only thing that looks to be imploding is the US/israel's ability to regime change. It is beyond clear that the public down there has completely rejected attempts to overthrow or displace the current government. They remember what their lives were like before Chavez and are making a conscious choice that they can weather Maduro's incompetence better than a return to being a US puppet with their oil privatized.
