I just tried probably 10 times to upload a larger video.

I don't have the best internet connection, so it takes a while to upload (several minutes in fact).

Now I ALWAYS get a CAPTCHA failed error.

Even when I ask for another captcha when it has almost finished uploading.

The Captcha per post makes sense of course, but not checking it immediately after pressing the "New reply" button and instead timing out does not.

Can you please somehow get it fixed?

I'm now giving it up.

They should simply check it immediately after pressing the button. Shouldn't be too difficult.

Or verify the latest one right after it finished uploading.

I see the point and I like it that way less crap gets posted, but the implementation sucks.

I upload websites as png as well, I do so so that stuff can not be taken down.

The PNGs I already uploaded over the last months were quite large as well. I have not checked the timeout yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if I couldn't do that either anymore.

I'm not asking for anything to be removed.

I simply want this to be fixed.

I'm from Europe btw. I got probably 10 or more notable posts in the last German bread.

And the vast majority of our internet connections has sucky upload speeds (intentionally).

I was the anon who originally linked to the interview of the French architect of the Notre Dame (bv/bo can check, well I had to delete all the cookies today including my whole history because I wasn't shown per-post-captchas at all).

I also uploaded it to streamable.

GUESS WHAT

Streamable took the video down within a few hours.

YT took it down right before that.

If it's too much to ask, then BO should simply block any image+movie+PDF uploads altogether.
