Barr Launches Wide-Ranging Probe Into 2016 FBI Spying

Attorney General William Barr told the Senate Judiciary Panel this week that he has assembled a team at the Justice Department to probe whether the spying conducted by the FBI against the Trump campaign in 2016 was improper, reports Bloomberg.

Barr suggested that he would focus on former senior leaders at the FBI and Justice Department.

"To the extent there was overreach, what we have to be concerned about is a few people at the top getting it into their heads that they know better than the American people," said Barr.

Barr will also review whether the infamous Steele dossier - a collection of salacious and unverified claims against Donald Trump, assembled by a former British spy and paid for by the Clinton campaign - was fabricated by the Russian government to trick the FBI and other US agencies. "We now know that he was being falsely accused," Barr said of Trump. "We have to stop using the criminal justice process as a political weapon."

Mueller’s report didn’t say there were false accusations against Trump. It said the evidence of cooperation between the campaign and Russia “was not sufficient to support criminal charges.” Investigators were unable to get a complete picture of the activities of some relevant people, the special counsel found.

Although Barr’s review has only begun, it’s helping to fuel a narrative long embraced by Trump and some of his Republican supporters: that the Russia investigation was politically motivated and concocted from false allegations in order to spy on Trump’s campaign and ultimately undermine his presidency. -Bloomberg

Nadler Gives Bill Barr 9 AM Monday Deadline to Comply With “Counter Offer” Before Holding AG in Contempt of Congress

House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) on Friday gave Attorney General Bill Barr an ultimatum — comply with the “counter offer” or the committee will move forward with contempt of Congress.

“The committee is prepared to make every realistic effort to reach an accommodation with the department,” Nadler wrote in a letter to Bill Barr on Friday. “But if the department persists in its baseless refusal to comply with a validly issued subpoena, the committee will move to contempt proceedings and seek further legal recourse.”

Nadler gave the Justice Department a 9 AM Monday deadline to comply with the committee’s new offer, which includes allowing more members of Congress to look at a less-redacted version of Mueller’s report. Nadler also wants Barr to seek a court order to grant lawmakers the right to view the underlying grand jury material — Barr blocked the grand jury material from the public and Congress to protect innocent people who have not been indicted.

Under special counsel rules, Attorney General Bill Barr didn’t even need to release Mueller’s report to the public or to Congress. The unredacted version of the report is in a SCIF [Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility] for certain lawmakers to view, however, only two lawmakers have actually viewed the less-redacted version of the report.

“[T]he department has offered no reason whatsoever for failing to produce the evidence underlying the report, except for a complaint that there is too much of it and a vague assertion about the sensitivity of law enforcement files,” Nadler wrote.

Barr was scheduled to appear before the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday but things began to go sideways after Chairman Jerry Nadler proposed changes to the format.

James Woods Banned from Twitter Amid Silicon Valley’s Conservative Blacklisting Campaign

James Woods, one of the few conservative stars in Hollywood, has been locked out of his Twitter account for over a week now for “abusive behavior,” once again demonstrating the double standard the tech giant holds when it comes to enforcing rules.

Twitter suspended Woods for a tweet that read, “‘If you try to kill the King, you best not miss’ #HangThemAll,” according to his girlfriend Sara Miller.

The tweet was apparently in reference to the Mueller report, which found no conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia. The quote is from Ralph Waldo Emerson and has been used in various forms in movies and TV shows like The Wire.

Nevertheless, this post apparently met the threshold on Twitter for “abusive behavior.”

Twitter does not appear to have the same standard for leftists. As Breitbart News has reported, there are several examples of actual violent threats going unchecked by the social media company.

Twitter allowed a number of verified accounts to participate in doxxing and violent threats against teenagers from Covington Catholic high school in January.

Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) was on the receiving end of vicious sexist Twitter abuse after she defended Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Actor Peter Fonda said that Barron Trump should be taken away from his Melania and put in a cage with pedophiles. Fonda also called for Kirstjen Nielsen to be whipped. He later apologized.

Hollywood star Jim Carrey posted a drawing of Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. getting bludgeoned to death by an elephant last year. The tweet is still up.

In 2016, various accounts called for and cheered on the shooting of police officers.

Woods has been locked out of his account before for posting a meme.

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has previously claimed that while he is “more left-leaning,” his company does not target users over political views.

“I think the real question behind the question is, are we doing something according to political ideology or viewpoints? We are not. Period. We do not look at content with regards to political viewpoint or ideology. We look at behavior,” he said last year.

Former WH Security Official Carl Kline Denies Influence From Trump: GOP Memo

Former White House official Carl Kline denied the president had any influence on his security clearance decisions and accused the media of character assassination during his congressional testimony, according to a GOP memo.

The memo, authored by Republican members of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and obtained by The Daily Caller, summarized Kline’s closed-door testimony to the committee on Wednesday.

Kline sought to debunk claims from a whistleblower that he made irresponsible decisions about security clearance determinations for at least two dozen individuals. He also specifically challenged the idea that anyone in the White House — including the president — ever attempted to influence his determinations about security clearances.

“I have never been approached by anybody at the White House or outside the White House to adjudicate a case, one way or the other, in my tenure at the White House,” Kline testified.

The testimony undercuts suggestions from Democrats that President Donald Trump was involved in overturning a decision not to grant his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, a security clearance. Kline asserted that he does not have a relationship with the president.

Bible verse removed from California school following FFRF complaint

A large bible verse painting has been removed from Muroc Joint Unified School District property after the Freedom From Religion Foundation intervened.

A concerned parent reported that Desert Junior/Senior High School had a bible verse painted on a retaining wall near the main office. The verse cited was Hebrews 13:20-21 which in its entirety says, “Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”

FFRF urged the district to remove the display immediately, since it constituted an impermissible government endorsement of religion. It is well-settled law, FFRF reminded the district, that districts may not display religious messages or iconography in public schools.

“This religious display is particularly inappropriate, given that about 38 percent of Americans born after 1987 are not religious,” FFRF Legal Fellow Chris Line wrote in his letter to Superintendent Kevin D. Cordes. “The display alienates those nonreligious students, families, teachers and members of the public whose religious beliefs are inconsistent with the message being promoted by the school.”

The district recently informed FFRF that it has removed the bible verse painting.

FFRF is pleased the district has appropriately remedied this violation.

“The illustration of a bible verse on school property undeniably paints the picture that the school endorses that religious message,” noted FFRF Co-President Annie Laurie Gaylor. “It sends the signal to minority religious and nonreligious students that they are outsiders in their own community.”

The Freedom From Religion Foundation is a national nonprofit organization with more than 31,000 members and several chapters across the country, including over 4,000 members and a chapter in California. FFRF’s purposes are to protect the constitutional principle of separation between church and state, and to educate the public on matters relating to nontheism.

Jordan's King Sacks Intel Chief, Senior Officials Amid Plot Suspicions

Jordanian King Abdullah II fired several senior officials, including the general intelligence chief over the past week following reports of a plot to destabilise the kingdom.

The Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas, citing anonymous sources, reported that several senior and influential Jordanian figures had conspired to hold a mass protest outside the royal palace in Amman to demonstrate a lack of public confidence in Jordanian Prime Minister Omar Razzaz and thereby create instability in the kingdom.

The Jordanian King replaced the director of the General Intelligence Department, General Adnan al-Jundi, who held one of the most influential positions in the country. The palace issued a statement stating that the king had decided to retire Jundi, replacing him with General Ahmed Husni, who has served in several senior intelligence posts.

The king said in the statement, cited by Haaretz, that the move was prompted by complaints of shortcomings in the management of the intelligence system and finding that some people were using their status and positions to advance personal interests at the expense of those of the kingdom. Before Jundi, the king also replaced several officials in his bureau, including the head of policy and information.

Jordanian media reported that changes had also been made in the defence establishment and police force, with new commanders appointed for some regions. According to Jordanian officials, additional changes are expected to take place at the palace and in defence-related positions.

Haaretz also noted that Jordanian officials are worried about the repercussions of the Middle East peace proposal that the Trump administration is gearing up to present. The concern is that the plan could destabilize the kingdom and undermine its relations with the Palestinian Authority, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States and other Arab countries.

The Jordanian King has previously said that he has been subject to heavy pressure in the course of preparations to release the plan, noting that Jordan “will not compromise on issues of principle such as the Palestinian right to establish an independent state based on the 1967 borders, as well as the issues of Jerusalem and Palestinian refugees”.

Jordanian officials have firmly denied reports that the kingdom will grant citizenship to more than a million Palestinian refugees in exchange for generous economic assistance, estimated at tens of billions of dollars, as part of the peace plan. A senior Jordanian official told Haaretz on Thursday that King Abdullah has set clear red lines and would not “surrender to dictates that infringe on the Palestinians’ basic rights.” Jordan would not become an alternative to a Palestinian state, the official added.

Former US Attorney: Susan Rice Ordered Spy Agencies To Produce ‘Detailed Spreadsheets’ Involving Trump

Update: In response to a question Tuesday from NBC News reporter Andrea Mitchell, former Obama White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice denied that she “prepared” spreadsheets of surveilled telephone calls involving Donald Trump and his aides. The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group, however, reported that Rice “ordered” the spreadsheets to be produced.

In addition, former U.S. Attorney Joe DiGenova, one of TheDCNF’s sources, said Tuesday in response to Rice that her denial “would come as quite a surprise to the government officials who have reviewed dozens of those spreadsheets.”

Former President Barack Obama’s national security adviser Susan Rice ordered U.S. spy agencies to produce “detailed spreadsheets” of legal phone calls involving Donald Trump and his aides when he was running for president, according to former U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova.

“What was produced by the intelligence community at the request of Ms. Rice were detailed spreadsheets of intercepted phone calls with unmasked Trump associates in perfectly legal conversations with individuals,” diGenova told The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group Monday.

“The overheard conversations involved no illegal activity by anybody of the Trump associates, or anyone they were speaking with,” diGenova said. “In short, the only apparent illegal activity was the unmasking of the people in the calls.”

Other official sources with direct knowledge and who requested anonymity confirmed to TheDCNF diGenova’s description of surveillance reports Rice ordered one year before the 2016 presidential election.

Also on Monday, Fox News and Bloomberg News, citing multiple sources reported that Rice had requested the intelligence information that was produced in a highly organized operation. Fox said the unmasked names of Trump aides were given to officials at the National Security Council (NSC), the Department of Defense, James Clapper, President Obama’s Director of National Intelligence, and John Brennan, Obama’s CIA Director.

Joining Rice in the alleged White House operations was her deputy Ben Rhodes, according to Fox.

Critics of the atmosphere prevailing throughout the Obama administration’s last year in office point to former Obama Deputy Defense Secretary Evelyn Farkas who admitted in a March 2 television interview on MSNBC that she “was urging my former colleagues,” to “get as much information as you can, get as much intelligence as you can, before President Obama leaves the administration.”

Farkas sought to walk back her comments in the weeks following: “I didn’t give anybody anything except advice.”

Authorities Bust 424 Criminals at the Same Time — Criminals Dems Wanted Ignored

Law enforcement works hard to keep lawbreakers off the street. Sometimes they even nab several bad guys at a time.

But rarely do those same law enforcement officers get lucky enough to make a catch numbering in the hundreds.

Border Patrol agents in New Mexico became some of those lucky few after apprehending more than 400 illegal aliens on U.S. soil earlier this week.

“Agents encountered a group of what seemed to be over 400 illegal aliens in Sunland Park just after midnight,” a press release from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection said. “Border Patrol agents were able to apprehend all the aliens. In just a few hours the total number taken into custody in the Sunland Park area was 424.”

“While dealing with this influx of people in the Sunland Park area U.S. Border Patrol agents working at Camp Bounds Forward Operating Base at the Antelope Wells Port of Entry, arrested a large group of 230 illegal aliens around 2 a.m.”

While the mass arrest of 654 people in a single day illegally crossing our southern border may have sent alarm bells ringing in the past, it has become a normal type of crime. Unfortunately for law and order in America, there are individuals who are fighting to ignore and even encourage these crimes.

Democrats, hellbent on protecting illegals, went so far as to attempt to loosen gun laws to the point where aliens who failed a background check would not have Immigration and Customs Enforcement notified.

Yes, Democrats were willing to retreat on a gun control issue to protect illegal immigrants. In one instance, a mayor even used his city’s law enforcement to help illegals circumvent the law.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey required his city’s police cars to come with placards that seem aimed at people in this country illegally. And with the placards being installed in the back of squad cars, it’s safe to say the target audience is not Boy Scouts but rather criminals under arrest.

However, those don’t hold a candle to the granddaddy of all pro-illegal schemes: the sanctuary city.

Sanctuary cities, which help illegals evade immigration authorities, have become a haven for undocumented aliens. Aliens are able to commit crimes, enjoy our fair and accommodating court system, then live safe in the knowledge that ICE won’t be coming for them.

The deadly MS-13 gang operates in many of these cities, leaving a wake of death and destruction that affects innocent Americans.

Palestinian accounts get suspended on social media platforms all the time. Twitter suspensions and deletions are clearly noticeable.

Palestinian Voices is an upcoming news outlet run by young people, that gives children and other youngsters a free platform to publish their stories — factual, fictional or otherwise.

It’s a new venture with a thousand learning curves yet to be swerved and dunams of space to hone unchartered skills in the search for professionalism and leadership. It’s exciting to see it unfold.

Recently, not one, not two, but three members of the team have had their accounts destroyed. Abdulraheem Alfarra, Bahaa Shammala, and Saif Eldden Bitar: Twitter’s waste disposal unit has been busy recently.

One by one, these young, ambitious journalists and reporters working to bring us the news from Palestine are being forcibly taken from us; metaphorically — erased in the night.

Twitter Policy claims that it respects the freedom of speech, but that is not true as it becomes clear that Twitter is completely biased to the Israeli side by silencing the Palestinian Voices.

And the outcry — is there one?

The act of silencing signifies terror: a fear of words, a fear of third person experience, a fear of the message and of its meaning. Dangerously, it undermines the fundamental vision that free speech, discussion and debate are tools to education and empowerment. Censorship undermines democracy.

Bahaa Shammala’s Twitter account with its 50,000 followers was suspended two months ago. Shammala was tweeting about his country, defending his people and revealing Israel’s crimes committed on daily in Palestine.

Shammala said that in the last Israeli attack against Gaza Strip, he published a lot; he risked himself going out to the streets to cover the Israeli attacks against the Strip that night.

His tweets reached more than 250,000 people from all around the world in just one night and he was proud of that. But the next day when he got up, he was shocked that his account was permanently suspended by Twitter.

More New ‘AIPACs’ Popping Up

New organizations dedicated to “defending” Israel are proliferating due to concerns that the American people are finally waking up to the fact that they have been getting ripped off by a vast Zionist conspiracy for the past 70-plus years. Ironically, while it has become possible to criticize Israel even in the mainstream media, the United States government itself has become more firmly in the grasp of the Israel lobby, most recently manifested in bills passed by Congress pledging undying love and affection for war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu and all his works. This has been due in large part to the effective lobbying by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), which met in Washington in March and drew 18,000 of its supporters to both show up and lobby their congressmen.

The congressional love affair with Israel has been accompanied by billions of dollars in U.S. taxpayer-provided Danegeld per annum plus a de facto commitment to send American soldiers to fight and die for Israel even if Netanyahu starts a war for no reason whatsoever.

By one estimate there are 600 groups operating in the United States with the objective of promoting Israel’s interests. They run the gamut, politically speaking, and include leftward leaning organizations, like J Street, that aggressively support a two-state solution for Israel-Palestine while at the same time ignoring the fact that Israel has expanded its settlements in such a fashion as to make a Palestinian state unrealizable. On the extreme right is a group founded in 2010, which calls itself the Emergency Committee for Israel (ECI), headed by none other than Bill Kristol, former editor of the now thankfully defunct Weekly Standard magazine. The ECI board included Rachel Abrams, wife of pardoned felon Elliott Abrams, who is currently seeking to destroy Venezuela.

ECI is largely inactive at the present time, but when it was launched it claimed to be the most pro-Israel of all pro-Israel groups, which would be quite an achievement. It was most active in 2010-14 when it ran full-page ads against liberal advocacy groups, attacked the Occupy Wall Street movement for being anti-Semitic, and criticized individual congressmen for not being sufficiently pro-Israel. In 2013 the group came out against the proposed appointment of Chuck Hagel as secretary of defense because he had once mildly criticized Israel.

Israel’s UN Ambassador waves a bible at the Security Council

Israel’s UN Ambassador Danny Danon is now claiming the bible as proof to Israel’s fundamental right to all of Palestine.

During his speech at a UN Security Council meeting on Monday, Danon held up a bible at for all the ambassadors present to see and said, “This is our deed to our land.”

Danon is claiming ownership to all of Palestine, which he calls “Eretz Yisrael” at a time when the international community is worried about Netanyahu realizing his recent election promise to annex the occupied West Bank.

Such a religious, literally biblical claim, coming from a supposedly secular representative of a supposedly secular democratic state, put forth to a serious political world assembly, may seem bizarre, to say the least. But it is actually not new, nor isolated to the Israeli political right, which Danon belongs to (Likud). On January 8th, 1937, the New York Times reported how David Ben Gurion was claiming the bible as a kind of deed to the land, in his testimony to the British Royal Peel Commission:

“We are coming to our own country by our own right of historic connection with the land – a right prior to the [British] Mandate… As a matter of fact, the bible is our mandate”, Ben Gurion said.

Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely has also used the bible as a direct claim for all of Palestine. Her motto: “This land is ours. All of it is ours. We did not come here to apologize for that”. A couple of years ago she waved an empty book at Palestinian lawmakers in the Knesset, saying that it’s their empty history, and that they are “thieves of history” (stealing it from the Jews, as it were).

Computer expert Dennis Montgomery developed software programs that could breach secure computer systems and collect massive amounts of data.

That system, THE HAMMER, according to the audio tapes, accessed the phone calls, emails and bank accounts of millions of ordinary Americans.

The tapes also reveal that the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance court (FISA), Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, 156 other judges, members of Congress, and Donald J. Trump were targeted by the HAMMER.

One of the audio tapes made public by Federal Judge G. Murray Snow revealed that Brennan and Clapper particularly targeted and wiretapped Donald Trump a “zillion times.”

Kushner: US to Discuss Israel Annexing W Bank Possibility when New Gov't Formed

On 6 April, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to annex settlements in the West Bank if he secures another term as prime minister in Israel's parliamentary elections on 9 April.

White House senior adviser Jared Kushner said on Thursday that the Washington would discuss possibility of Israel annexing West Bank settlements when new Israeli government is formed, Reuters reported. Kushner told the Washington Institute for Near East Policy that the Middle East peace proposal would be a "good starting point" to address the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

"I hope both sides will take a real look at it, the Israeli side and the Palestinian side, before any unilateral steps are made," Kushner said

President Trump’s son-in-law, who is believed to be the main architect of the upcoming peace plan, said earlier that the new plan will be a reversal of approaches by previous administrations, which attempted to begin processes leading to unspecified solutions.

Relations between the Israel and Palestine have been tense for decades. The Palestinians are seeking diplomatic recognition for an independent state on the territories of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, which is partially occupied by Israel, and the Gaza Strip.

In April, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said he does not believe Netanyahu's vows to annex the West Bank will hurt the US-led Mideast peace process.

But this piece began by presenting their case a piece at a time, challenging the lies we have been told, and then destroying each one, case by case. Because they were batting 100%, I had to keep watching, because when Gordon say “the whole thing is fake”, it is not an exaggeration.
