Can't find anything about Karate Kid's original title being The Moment of Truth… Its Karate Kid.

Only thing about Moment of Truth is the Survivor song: "The Moment of Truth" (Survivor song), a 1984 song by Survivor, part of the soundtrack for The Karate Kid.

this would have made sense to use if a foreign country had Survivor being popular, then they would translate something that would pull people in based on its popularity.

For example, The Japanese version of the title is ベスト・キッド, which means "Best Kid" because Karate Kid would have sounded dumb in Japan…

Not sure why the shills are pushing this.
