okay, so i did some more digging and found a few interesting things related to Trevor Cadigan's father Jerry Cadigan (they both have TEGNA connections)

they are both alums of Bishop Lynch High School, which is the largest Catholic school in Texas

the school was founded in 1963 and Cadigan graduated in 1969, his graduating class was the first to have started as a freshman at BLHS

the school had a big $8 million renovation project, and the Dallas Police Department and Dallas SWAT team trained in one of the buildings that was to be demolished

Cadigan spoke at a demolition ceremony for the school!!!!

also a connection between the high school and the Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy
