Could be a plausible scenario. That is, if they had manipulated the ILS opposite to what's been done in Die Hard (i.e. touch down too late).

Alas, with ILS antennae fixed on the ground I doubt that's possible, but am not sure ….

Like I said, haven't followed the crash or the reports. NTSB or FAA typically have the reports only after an investigation, but I'll check.

Checked the airport/runway & METAR, and reports.

Rwy 10 doesn't have ILS, and acc. to METAR plane might have had tailwind while landing.

Moreover, runways are non-grooved at KNIP. No report from NTSB yet.

Wouldn't know how ground crews at NGU, where the plane had been before flying from Jacksonville to Gitmo, could have been involved to contribute to or cause the incident.
