Will start with this, holy cow: Bormann's son was a pedo priest.

A 63-year-old man said his mistreatment at the hands of Bormann took place in the early 60s when he was a Catholic priest teaching at the Hearts of Jesus monastery in the Austrian city of Salzburg."
Next find was this piece (book link below) which points to the sketchy circumstances surrounding the "finding" of Bormann's alleged remains in Berlin. It looks to me as if "they" made sure remains were found, to tie up loose ends and cover up Bormann's post-war life in South America.

The book passed off as a novel, to protect Creighton from potential serious consequences due to breach of the Official Secrets Act – unsettled the German government to the extent that a thorough forensics and DNA investigation was carried out on the remains."
This article goes on to say that the case was settled based on a DNA test which could have been altered, and the distant memory of a dentist who'd treated Bormann (whose records were conveniently destroyed in the war).
