a foul in racing is a foul. the #7 deserved to be taken down. jockey had excuse immediately 'fan noise.' cowboy jocket error, most likely. dangerous move. as country house trainer mott said, 'if it were a maiden claimer on a weekday, it would have been taken down in a few minutes.'
it was exactly what it was. hope not a lot was attempted to be read into it.
